New Business Sales Executive

MAS recruitment was established in 1989 and is one of the Thames Valleys leading privately owned recruitment operators. Initially, we are looking for a team of professional advisers to develop our contact database with employers and clients in the South East via telephone, email and face to face, from our offices in central Reading.

Your objective will be to make appointments with quality employers across a variety of different sectors for our management team, to meet face to face to discuss both Temporary and Permanent staffing requirements, employment guidance, job market analytics and various recruitment services.

Ideally, you should at least 4 hours free per day as a minimum, although you can pick the days of the week, and how many, for either mornings or afternoons or between 9.30 and 5.30pm if you prefer. We offer a flexible work pattern that suits all types of circumstances, with our top priority which is, to find the right person for this challenging role!

A basic salary along with a sales commission is available, the usual employer benefits and a great place to work located in Reading Town Center, the Oracle.

Warehouse Associate LLOP and/or FLT

Our client is looking to engage a professional temporary operative for the next 8-10 weeks.  You will be providing cover for a recent permanent staff leaver, so there may be an opportunity for something permanent for the right person.

Ideally you should have  your own transport, safety shoes/boots with STC, previous order picking experience including the use of RF hand held scanners, manual picking lists.  A certificate and/or experience riding FLT or LLOP equipment is an advantage but not essential.

Working in a small team of about 20 operatives, you will be picking, packing and tracking parts for an automotive manufacturer, in a high value, clean environment.  Clear communication skills, a well as good level of maths and English is essential. A high level of attention to detail, accuracy and professional manner essential.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 09.00 hrs to 17.30 hrs 37.5 hour shift

Customer Services Sales Showroom Adviser

Our client is a leading supplier of doors, floors and wood products to the construction and retail sector. With over 30 years experience in the UK/EU, they are looking to recruit an additional  member to compliment the team ,at the Reading store.

Ideally you will have experience with buidling materials or consumer products or perhaps have an understanding of home refurbishment and DIY.

Car Delivery and Collection Drivers - Executive Car Dealers

At MAS we supply a number of Readings leading car dealers with Customer Service Drivers.  We have several major clients in the Thames Valley, who provide courtesy vehicles, service collections and new car deliveries.  This may involve collecting a new vehicle from car showrooms, dealer to dealer car swaps using trade plates, as well as personal home collections for servive and waranty repairs.

Our drivers need a minimum of 5 years commercial driving experience, a smart professional manner, good geographical knowledge and an understanding of road transport rules and safety. Good communication skills and be self sufficient.

A smart shirt, polished shoes and clean UK driviing licence is essential. CRB and background checks are required.

Hours of work can vary depending on the assignment, but normally provide a shift of 8-10 hours, although not on a full time basis, as the work can be sporadic although very enjoyable, therefore this is only temporary work and would suit semi-retired or part time self employed professionals.

LGV Driver Class I & II
