Electronics Assembly Operatives Production Roles

Our Client is a leading electronics company and as the preferred supplier for more than 17 years, we are always looking for electronic assembly operatives to work in the busy production department of this leading PC/IT manufacturer. We also need to hear from experienced stores/stock controller - inventory staff to support the production team in the manufacture of equipment for global customers in finance, security, aerospace etc

Ideally, you will have either production, factory, assembly or stores experience, in  electronics or small components , although other sectors will be considered with the relevant skill set and desire to learn new about new materials.

A good command of the English language and the ability to read and write well, with an understanding of technical instruction is essential.

You should be happy to work in a mixed skilled team environment, where there may be a requirement to produce high volume products using small components and electronic assembly techniques at a fast pace, with the use of Glue guns, Soldering, Picking and Small part assembly.  Other equipment may be used and full training is available along with ongoing skills development for individuals with an interest in this type of work who are looking for a longer term assignment or possibly a permanent career in this sector.

Car Delivery and Collection Drivers - Executive Car Dealers

At MAS we supply a number of Readings leading car dealers with Customer Service Drivers.  We have several major clients in the Thames Valley, who provide courtesy vehicles, service collections and new car deliveries.  This may involve collecting a new vehicle from car showrooms, dealer to dealer car swaps using trade plates, as well as personal home collections for servive and waranty repairs.

Our drivers need a minimum of 5 years commercial driving experience, a smart professional manner, good geographical knowledge and an understanding of road transport rules and safety. Good communication skills and be self sufficient.

A smart shirt, polished shoes and clean UK driviing licence is essential. CRB and background checks are required.

Hours of work can vary depending on the assignment, but normally provide a shift of 8-10 hours, although not on a full time basis, as the work can be sporadic although very enjoyable, therefore this is only temporary work and would suit semi-retired or part time self employed professionals.

Assembly Operative

This leading electronics company is looking for several electronic assembly operatives.

Cars & Van Delivery and Collection Driver

An experienced driver wanted to join our team of professional drivers. Working on temporary assignments across Reading and the Thames Valley area, ideally you should have previous commercial driving experience, a clean UK driving licence and solid employment record, backed up with satisfactory references.

A 7.5t licence and tachograph knowledge would be an advantage, although you will be required to drive cars, vans and trucks during the course of your duties within your licence permits. A CPC certificate is required fro certain job roles. An ADR and LGV would open up a world of further opportunities.

A smart, polite and professional manner is essential, along with a flexible attitude to loading and unloading, reading maps, customer service and all connected duties required in the course of your role.

Print Production Trainee

As Print Trainee you will be  based in South Reading and involved the operation and maintenance of digital print and computer aided cutting machines working in a busy print department for this leading Thames Valley employer

Hours of work are generally 8.30am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday

The role will involve following daily print schedules, loading the machines with the correct material, calling up the artwork on the machine and printing/cutting as required. An understanding experience of large print machines would be useful.

Your role will also involve finishing/collating and packing the graphics and finished products ready for dispatch during busy periods.
