Maintenance Assistant - Residential Buildings

We are currently looking to provide support services to a local charity who need an individual to carry out general repairs and maintenance to residents rooms and accomodation units in local care homes and residential blocks.

Ideally you should have some DIY/Maintenance experience and be able to use power tools and equipment safely.  

Duties include minor repairs like changing light bulbs, wireing plugs as well as some plumbing and minor building works, changing locks, unblocking toilets etc etc.

This is a full time temporary assignment which carries a greater degree of responsibility and confidentiality as you may be working  alongside vulnerable adults who need reliable support and a feeling of security.

Therefore the ability to be reliable, discreet and co-operative is essential at all times as well as maintain distance and fix issues that occur from time to time around tseveral properties. You may be on call at certain times.

The role is rewarding in many ways and invaluable in assisting individuals to get back on their feet. If you have your own tools this is useful although not essential.

Electronics Assembly Operatives Production Roles

Our Client is a leading electronics company and as the preferred supplier for more than 17 years, we are always looking for electronic assembly operatives to work in the busy production department of this leading PC/IT manufacturer. We also need to hear from experienced stores/stock controller - inventory staff to support the production team in the manufacture of equipment for global customers in finance, security, aerospace etc

Ideally, you will have either production, factory, assembly or stores experience, in  electronics or small components , although other sectors will be considered with the relevant skill set and desire to learn new about new materials.

A good command of the English language and the ability to read and write well, with an understanding of technical instruction is essential.

You should be happy to work in a mixed skilled team environment, where there may be a requirement to produce high volume products using small components and electronic assembly techniques at a fast pace, with the use of Glue guns, Soldering, Picking and Small part assembly.  Other equipment may be used and full training is available along with ongoing skills development for individuals with an interest in this type of work who are looking for a longer term assignment or possibly a permanent career in this sector.

Technical Warehouse Operative x 3

As warehouse team member your role with this client is varied and flexible. An immediate interview and start is available- apply NOW.

The main areas of your job will be to receive goods in  and check, test, store and reference high value equipment, that is used in the audio visual industry for sporting events and exhibitions as well as prepare customer orders for collection and delivery by  picking parts and components to ensure the smooth installation of services to customer sites as required.

  • Checking stock levels, dealing with customer and technical requests.
  • Loading and unloading high value equipment, preparing vans for projects, FLT licence useful
  • Stock management and allocation, carrying out electrical tests  and software diagnostics  
  • Preparation of goods for dispatch 
  • Maintain and clean the warehouse whilst maintaining H&S procedures at all times

Day shift working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm with the scope for plenty of overtime at busy periods, when evenings and weekends may be available. OTE Mid to late £20k's with scope to advance to technical enigneer/installation specialist.

On site and external training available as well as some travel for more experienced operatives.

An interest in video/LED displays  and electronic/electricals is an advantage, although full product training is available for candidates with the right attitude.

A clean UK driving licence is useful.

Executive Car Forecourt Attendant

We are provide services to a number of prestige motor vehicle dealers around the Thames Valley and have an immediate requrement for a Forecourt/Front of house professional.

Duties include the control and provision of visitor parking, layout and organisation of new and used cars on the premises, collection and delivery of new and used cars to customers and repair shops as well as face to face contact with customers and visitors to the dealership.

The perfect person should have a valid clean UK driving licence, held for a least 10 years.  Be professional and smartly presented as business attire is required, along with good communicaton skills and a reliable and helpful attitude.

Hours of work are 9 hours per day from 8am until 6pm Monday to Friday with some weekends when support is required during motor car sales events.
